Waypoint 12: Arenero (Route 3 Map)

Near this point, there is a sand quarry in Utrillas, one of the few places where the surrounding rock can be seen, although in this case the abandonment of the quarry has meant that the quality of the outcrop has been lost.

Nevertheless, the sands can be seen in different colours, especially white, yellow and red, depending on the rock that gave rise to them.

  Waypoint 8: The reef. (Map route 1) (Map route 2) (Map route 3) We arrive at what it may be the most important waypoint of the route, the Sistine Chapel or the Sancta sanctorum of Castrojimeno Village.
