Waypoint 2: Start of the first bar  (Map route 1) (Map route 3) 

Following the road that leads to the village we can feel the ascension. This already indicates that we are passing to a unit that has hardly been eroded, these are hard units. Reaching "La fuente del mirador de la muela" we observe on the opposite side the first layers of the chalky unit that represent the first bar.

This unit is especially relevant as this units represent (and now until the end of the sequence) the moment of high sea level. It represnets the perio of time in which the sea level reached its maximum and stabilized; as lower depth conditions arised, the units change largely, starting to appear carbonated bars.

Waypoint 11. "Tapiology" the geology and its environment   (Map Route 2) This wall has been built using different rocks of its surroundings, we can practically indicate in a clear way, where all or almost all the rocks that form it have come from. If we look in detail we see several rocks with the already classic rudists, (these tubes or circular holes in the rocks). We find here rudists of diverse origin and typology, which allows us to make a review of the regional paleontology. 1) Hippurites incisus : characterized by its irregular morphology with two very marked partitions in the shell which generates two large wrinkles in the interior space. 2) Biradiolites canalictus : rather thin in diameter and long, they stand out for not having these inner pillars, but nevertheless have a very thick and folded shell. 3) Radiolites sauvagesi : of large diameter without inner pillars, and very thick shell with different overlapping lamellae; which gives an external appearance of "

ROUTE 3 WAYPOINT 17

Waypoint 17: Ochre Dolomites (Route 3 Map) At this point it is possible to find the ochre dolomites seen at point 8 again, although the quality of the outcrop is somewhat worse. We can see how it is made up of red dolomites formed by small oolites. All of them are associated with the moment when the sea level began to rise, but still with a low water level.

RUTA 1 PUNTO 1 Y RUTA 3 PUNTO 18

Punto 1: Las Margas iniciales  (Plano Ruta 1)   (Plano Ruta 3) En este punto se observa la primera unidad blanda de la secuencia sedimentaria que forma DS-2. Esta unidad representa  hasta los primeros estratos que dan cierto resalte al cortejo TST, es decir Transgresivo, asociado a una rápida subida del nivel del mar lo que da una rocas de origen marino relativamente profundo. La primera unidad dura que da un ligero saliente mayor representa la superficie de máxima inundación (MFS). A partir de este nivel la tasa de subida del nivel del mar se desacelera haciendo que se vea compensado por el aporte de sedimentos hasta que inicia el cortejo de alto nivel del mar (HST). Paleontológicamente en esta unidad destacan unos ostreidos de gran tamaño, con una valva inferior muy pesada que le permite estabilizarse en el sustrato.
