ROUTE 1 WAYPOINT 7 AND ROUTE 3 WAYPOINT 3
Waypoint 7: The uso of chalky rocks in the village's (Map route 1) (Map route3)
It is outstanding at Castrojimeno the huge amount of wineries. The majority of them are located in the soft units, benefiting from the harder units as floor and ceiling of the wineries. However, here we can see how in a smaller soft area (due to fracture) a winery has been made.
Similarly, we can observe at this waypoint the rocky outcrops, from the Facies A family, it is hardly visible a clear internal structure with big strata of metric size.
Now, if we focus on the stairs that give access to "Mirador de la Peña" promenade, here we observe the first Rudist, in particular these are Radiolites Sauvagesi and some Biradiolites Angulosus.
